Who We Are

Handyman Monthly is operated by Las Vegas Handyman 702, a licensed and insured home and construction business that has been serving the Las Vegas Valley since 1990. We’re the same crew, the same phone number, and the same license — Handyman Monthly is simply how we package our work as an ongoing subscription instead of one-off service calls.

Why We Built a Subscription

Most of the expensive work we get called out for was preventable. A dryer vent nobody cleaned. An HVAC filter left in for a year. A small leak that nobody caught until it reached the drywall. By the time a homeowner calls, the cheap fix has already turned into the expensive one.

So we inverted the model. Instead of waiting for the emergency, members get scheduled visits, safety checks, and a handyman who already knows their home. Small problems get caught on a schedule, and our members stop paying emergency prices.

What Membership Includes

We offer three tiers, all of them licensed, insured service from our own certified team:

• Essential — $45/mo. Annual safety inspection, preventative system check, HVAC filter change, dryer vent cleaning, priority scheduling and 5% off additional services.
• Premium Care — $99/mo. Everything in Essential, plus quarterly property walkthroughs, 2 hours of dedicated labor each month that you can bank toward larger projects, same-week scheduling, 10% off additional services and emergency priority response.
• Estate Concierge — $219/mo. Everything in Premium Care, plus monthly property inspections, unlimited labor priority, a dedicated service coordinator, project oversight and vendor management, 15% off all services, same-day emergency response and an annual home improvement roadmap.

How We Work

You pick a plan and check out securely through Square. We schedule your first visit, walk the property, and build a maintenance schedule around your home’s actual age and systems. From there we handle the inspections, maintenance and repairs on a proactive schedule — and when something does come up, you call (725) 234-3107 as a priority member.

What We Look at on a Desert Home

Southern Nevada heat, dust and hard water wear on houses in predictable ways, so our member visits focus on the spots where small problems start.

Dryer Vents and Hidden Lint Buildup

Lint packed inside a dryer duct is one of the most common preventable hazards we find. It slows drying, overheats the appliance and can ignite. Cleaning the vent is part of every plan because the duct run is out of sight, and few homeowners know when it was last cleared.

HVAC Filters Through the Cooling Season

Las Vegas air conditioners run hard for months, and dust loads filters quickly. A clogged filter restricts airflow and makes the system strain right when you depend on it most. We swap the filter on schedule, using one you keep on hand, and note anything about the system that looks off.

Slow Leaks, Fixtures and Hard Water Wear

Mineral-heavy valley water is tough on faucets, supply lines and shutoff valves. A weeping connection under a sink can go unnoticed until it stains a cabinet floor or reaches the drywall. Walkthroughs give us a regular chance to spot these early and handle the minor plumbing fixes on our services list.

Alarms and Safety Testing

Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms only help if they work when needed. Safety testing during your inspection checks that alarms respond, so a dead unit gets dealt with on a normal visit instead of being discovered in an emergency. Alarms mounted on high ceilings, common in many valley homes, are exactly the ones owners skip.

Sun-Worn Exteriors, Caulk and Trim

Intense sun dries out caulk, fades paint and opens small gaps around windows, doors and trim. Catching that wear early keeps dust and heat out and prevents larger repairs. Members on Premium Care or Estate Concierge can put banked labor hours or priority labor toward these exterior touch-ups.
